Diplomate American Board of Orthopedic Surgery

Dr. Harris received his medical degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1970. He then completed an orthopedic residency at UCLA and an orthopedic fellowship in spine surgery at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Southern California. Dr. Harris is board ­certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and American Medical Association.

My extensive experience has provided me with an expertise and understanding of mechanisms of injury, the natural history of degenerative conditions, judgment regarding conservative vs operative care, and expected outcomes. My evaluations and reports address the specific issues and rely on evidence­ based literature reviews.
